Welcome to Phoenix Custom Rods.  I hope to educate and inform you about true custom fishing rods and the advantages they have over off the shelf rods. Custom built fishing rods are the ultimate in fishing gear. Used by professional fishermen and serious anglers alike, they provide unmatched performance. If you have never fished with a custom built rod, take my word for it...there really is a difference!

You either walk out more confused, end up buying a rod that is not suited for the type of fishing you do or purchase an inexpensive "store special" that when you get it home, it feels more like a stick than a fine instrument or tool for fishing.

You will tell me about the way you fish, the line, the depth, the lures, weight and the species of fish you target. From that information I will suggest a couple of blanks to get started. At Phoenix Custom Rods, I am able to build virtually any type of fresh or saltwater rod using the highest quality components available. My vast experience over the last forty years in Jigging, Drift Fishing, Bottom Fishing, Fly Fishing, Down Rigger Fishing and Trolling allows me to pass along a great amount of knowledge both in information and in custom made fishing rods. My specialty is in fresh water spin and casting rods and walleye jigging rods.
